Business Analyst Backoffice Systeme IBM i-Series Industrial Insurance incl. AI Integration (m/f/d)
Main tasks
- System responsibility for insurance backend systems (TAINAS).
- Support and further development of TAINAS-based applications for contract and claims management.
- Integration and improvement of new and existing AI integrations into backend systems.
- Coordination of release planning, migrations, and system adjustments.
- Requirements and change management.
- Gathering and analyzing business requirements from Underwriting, Claims, and Operations.
- Preparation of IT concepts and coordination with TAINAS development teams.
- Management of change requests, including effort estimation and prioritization.
- Interface and data management.
- Ensuring data integrity between TAINAS and connected systems (e.g. ELO Document Management, Oracle EBS (Financial Accounting), PaSys (central partner system), SAPIENS SRM).
- Coordination of interface development (e.g. API, Service Bus, Staging Tables).
- Support for ETL processes and data provision for reporting and controlling.
- Quality assurance and test coordination.
- Planning and execution of technical tests (unit, integration, regression).
- Documentation of test cases and results.
- Support for acceptance testing and production deployment.
- Operations and support.
- 2nd-level support for business departments using TAINAS applications and support for superusers.
- Maintenance of new/changed user rights, roles, and master data resulting from changes within the AURES application (authentication system).
- Compliance and Documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements (e.g. DORA, GDPR).
- Maintenance of business documentation.
- Support for developers in maintaining technical documentation.
- Participation in internal and external audits.
Your profile - Professional experience/ personality/ languages/software
- Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Insurance, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience with IBM i-Series (Green Screen) applications is an advantage.
- Knowledge of insurance processes, particularly contract and claims management.
- Experience in project and test management.
- Confident handling of data models and relational databases.
- Good SQL skills for data analysis and data provision.
- Good knowledge of AI functionalities, particularly Copilot.
- Language skills: German (C1); English (B2); French (C1).
- Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a structured approach to work.
- Ability to work under pressure, including in difficult and demanding environments.
- Strong affinity for working in a multicultural environment.
