Deputy Head of Casualty & Pers. Accident (m/f/d)
Main tasks
- Deputy to the Head of Underwriting Casualty & Personal Accident in both
technical and organizational matters - Independent leadership of a sub-team of Underwriters in Casualty & Personal
Accident, in close coordination with the Head of UW Casualty & PA - Joint leadership and development of the team together with the Head of
Casualty & PA - Analysis of complex risks and development of tailored insurance solutions
- Project management and continuous optimization of underwriting processes
within the team - Active contribution to the strategic development of the Casualty division
- Management and expansion of client relationships in the industrial customer
segment - Direct underwriting responsibility for selected accounts, aligned with the role of
a Senior Underwriter and in coordination with the Head of Underwriting
Casualty & Personal Accident
Your profile - Professional experience/ personality/ languages/software
- Degree in Business Administration, preferably with a focus on insurance, or a comparable qualification with additional training
- Several years of experience and in-depth knowledge in the field of industrial liability insurance; ideally, experience with line of business control mechanisms
- Initial leadership experience or a strong willingness to take on responsibility
- Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Strong communication skills, team spirit, and a confident demeanor
- Excellent written and spoken German and English (business fluent)
