IT Service Manager (m/f/d)

Job Description

  • Create, implement and run a companywide Service Management Model.
  • Responsibility for the coordination and management of internal departments and external suppliers necessary for service delivery.
  • Assuming responsibility for evaluating change requests and new service requirements.
  • Responsibility for the implementation of the continuous improvement process, to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure as well as carry out regular customer communication with the customers of the service.
  • Support and advise IT management in the course of designing new solutions for customers.
  • Monitor, report and drive the improvement of IT Services aligned with IT strategy goals.
  • Responsible for IT Service performance and business support quality.
  • Responsible for processing regular assessments of all IT Services and IT Service Providers (internal & external).
  • Cooperation with Legal & Compliance, IT Risk Management and IT Governance for all service management contracts to ensure compliance of the services.
  • Deliver to IT Management standardized SLA and KPI management.
  • Support, co-responsible and/or responsible implementation of guidelines and policies.
  • Support of company IT key functions like CIO, ISO, IT Governance etc..


  • Study of a MINT subject or comparable qualification
  • More than 5 years of service management experience as responsible team lead or comparable qualification
  • Open and service oriented mind with motivation to drive things
  • Excellent understanding and knowledge of delivering IT Services to business functions
  • Very good coordination skills and a structured way of work
  • Experience in different similar positions would be welcome
  • Experience in designing and running on premise IT Services
  • Experience in designing and running cloud IT Services (Azure)
  • Experience in requirement engineering processes and methods
  • Experience in ITIL working methods
  • Strong team player
  • Experienced in conflict and escalation management
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English language (spoken and written)
