Insurance Operations Insights & Systems Lead (m/f/d)
Main tasks
- Design and maintain insurance contract and related transactions monitoring frameworks across Insurance Operations, with a strong focus on policy administration KPIs, data quality, and operational efficiency.
- Analyze and interpret operational data to uncover trends, bottlenecks, and root causes, providing actionable insights to optimize contract entry and policy administration workflows.
- Act as a link between controlling/reporting and business analysis functions, translating operational insights into actionable requirements for system, report and process enhancements.
- Develop and implement harmonized reporting structures that serve both local and central operational needs, ensuring consistency, comparability, and transparency across entities.
- Support the rollout of unified dashboards and reporting templates that enable operational efficiency visibility and decision-making.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to support system releases and upgrades, ensuring alignment with operational requirements, compliance standards, and business objectives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Policy-to-Cash (P2C) processes by embedding performance metrics, automation opportunities, and feedback loops into system-supported workflows
Your profile - Professional experience/ personality/ languages/software
- Degree in economics or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in the insurance industry, ideally in the areas of insurance operations, policy administration, controlling, reporting, or business analysis.
- Very good understanding of insurance processes, contract entry, and policy administration.
- Experience in analyzing operational data and working with KPIs.
- Proven experience in setting up, developing, and harmonizing reporting and dashboard structures.
- Confident use of analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, QlikSense/QlikView, SQL) and very good MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Process know-how and a good understanding of relevant IT and insurance systems.
- Experience in working with various stakeholders (specialist departments, IT, controlling, management) and in project and release environments.
- Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work.
- High degree of initiative and a proactive, hands-on mentality.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); other languages (French, German) are an advantage.

At the central level, CF Insurance Operations (CF iOps) bears overall responsibility for the efficient management of all insurance contracts at MSIG Europe SE. Our focus is on ensuring efficient processes, high data quality, and compliance with regulatory and financial requirements. We also manage projects and changes relating to the managing of insurance contracts and the generation of transactions in core insurance systems.
Your first year with us:
- 0-3 months: You will get to know the organization, make initial contacts and familiarize yourself with your tasks as part of your onboarding. A buddy will be available to you regularly during this time. At this time you will also have your first meeting with the HR department so that any questions or organizational matters can be clarified.
- 4-6 months: You become more and more familiar with your role and have completed the majority of your onboarding. Your buddy will also support you during this time. The second interview with HR is due.
- 7-12 months: You have all the information and tools you need to carry out your tasks confidently and independently.
