Junior Underwriter Marine (m/f/d)
Main tasks
As part of our team, you will gain comprehensive insight into the world of marine insurance and gradually build your technical expertise.
- Support underwriters in risk assessment and quotation preparation
- Review and process insurance documents and contracts
- Maintain and update data in our systems
- Assist with quotations, policy renewals, and endorsements
- Collaborate with the Underwriting, Claims, and Operations teams
- Develop knowledge in assessing risks within the international transportation and logistics environment
As you progress, you will develop towards:
- Analysis and assessment of complex risks
- Support in underwriting decisions
- Development into an Underwriter
Your profile - Professional experience/ personality/ languages/software
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Careful and structured working style
- Interest in insurance, shipping, or international trade
- Self-motivation and willingness to learn
