Underwriter Casualty (m/f/d)
Job Description
- Acting as professional contact for underwriters, in addition to supporting the Head of Casualty
- Handling referrals within the scope of authorisation for the Casualty division
- Ensuring all underwriting processes and coordination are in accordance with established guidelines
- Representing the Head of Casualty at meetings such as BPM, International Underwriting Meeting, etc.
- Managing organisational tasks such as file reviews, report preparation, and evaluations
Collaborating on strategic issues - Participating in or coordinating projects within the Casualty area or in product development (e.g. wordings)
- Performing special tasks assigned by regional management for the Casualty division
- Acting as Casualty Underwriter with responsibility for your own client portfolio
Day-to-day focus:
- Underwriting the assigned portfolio within the scope of authorisation and applicable guidelines
- Handling specialised topics in coordination with the Head of Casualty
Qualification
- You hold an academic degree
- You have at least five years of experience in underwriting
- You are fluent in English and Italian
- You are recognised for your entrepreneurial mindset and commercial acumen
