Profit-oriented underwriting within the framework of the line of business guidelines, standards, processes, and authorities, such as:

• Supporting and developing new, as well as expanding existing, relationships with customers, brokers, and company-affiliated intermediaries
• Conducting risk analysis, calculating the required premium, and preparing and negotiating offers
• Reviewing and negotiating contract texts (wordings)
• Accepting applications and preparing the necessary documentation
• Participating in annual meetings and customer visits
• Monitoring the portfolio with regard to economic requirements
• Initiating and participating in improvements to processes, guidelines, and tools
• Engaging in cross-company and cross-functional activities (e.g., participation in workstreams, special projects, etc.)
