Underwriting Assistance Casualty & Specialties (General Liability) (m/f/d)
Main tasks
- Support for existing customers in cooperation with the underwriters in the areas of General Liability, D&O, PI, and Cyber.
- Documenting insurance policies and supplements in the sole underwriting and management business.
- Processing of management, sole underwriting, participation, and indirect business.
- IT processing of contracts, including the corresponding premium bookings.
- Supporting the underwriters with portfolio controlling.
- Account clarification in the event of settlement differences.
- Special tasks and project work.
Your profile - Professional experience/ personality/ languages/software
- Completed apprenticeship as an insurance salesperson or a comparable qualification, ideally as an insurance specialist or with comparable studies.
- Several years of experience in administrative tasks (in the context of contract administration of commercial and/or industrial insurance contracts in the engineering sector), as well as in underwriting, if applicable.
- Project experience.
- Excellent cooperation and teamwork skills.
- High level of self-motivation, resilience, and flexibility.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Confident use of MS Office applications and internal systems.
- Very good knowledge of German and English.
