Executive Assistant to CIO (m/f/d)

Main tasks

  • Supporting and relieving the CIO in day-to-day business, e.g., in the strategic planning and development of projects.
  • Recording and analyzing market data, competition, and technology trends.
  • Development of strategic and operational measures to increase competitiveness.
  • Support in the realization of IT projects.
  • Communication and cooperation with stakeholders.
  • Carrying out research into new technologies, preparing feasibility reports and planning pilot projects.
  • Collaboration in the identification and assessment of IT risks.
  • Supporting the CIO in budget planning and cost management.
  • Development of strategies and monitoring their implementation.

Your profile - Professional experience/ personality/ languages/software

  • Completed studies in business informatics or comparable degree programs.
  • Several years of experience in:
    • IT strategy Development.
    • Digital transformation.
  • Good business knowledge, especially knowledge of the insurance industry, is an advantage.
  • Strong ability to work in a team, assertiveness, and analytical thinking.
  • High sense of responsibility and reliability.
  • Confident handling of MS 365.
  • Basic knowledge of PMP, PRINCE2 and ITIL would be advantageous.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in German and English.

The team you would enrich consists of 45 colleagues and is responsible for in the Corporate Centre for the overall IT for our business processing in Europe.

Your first year with us:
  • 0-3 months: You get to know the organization, make your first contacts and familiarize yourself with your tasks as part of your induction. A buddy will be available to you regularly during this time. During this time, you will have your first meeting with the HR department so that any questions or organizational issues can be clarified.
  • 4-6 months: You are familiarizing yourself more and more with your role and have completed the majority of your induction. Your buddy will also support you during this time. The second interview with HR is due.
  • 7-12 months: You have all the necessary information and tools to be able to dedicate yourself confidently and independently to your tasks.
