Insurance Operations Analyst (m/f/d)
Main tasks
- Analyzing, structuring and evaluating data related to insurance processes to gain valuable insights and identify trends, anomalies and areas for improvement.
- Professional development and implementation of meaningful metrics, KPIs, operational reports and dashboards.
- Supporting operational excellence and data quality from a strategic, performance and business perspective.
- Further development of insurance operations analytical tools, reports and processes.
- Work closely with central departments and operational users to derive concrete recommendations for action based on the data, formulate requirements to improve existing business reports, embed plausibility checks, actively avoid future data quality issues and optimize operational activities.
- Actively support and guide users and identify, track and resolve operational issues.
- Identify training needs to improve operational performance, design, coordinate and deliver training and education for insurance operations.
Your profile - Professional experience/ personality/ languages/software
- Degree in economics or a comparable qualification.
- 2-3 years of professional experience in the areas of controlling, sales and corporate management.
- Professional experience in the insurance industry desirable.
- Experience in analyzing complex business data, data quality management, configuring rules and data quality flags.
- Affinity for analytical and structured thinking.
- Experience with database and data analysis tools, e.g. QlikView / QlikSense, SQL, Power BI.
- MS Office skills, with a focus on Excel.
- Ability to summarize and present information.
- Process know-how and a solid understanding of the relevant IT systems.
- High level of initiative and personal responsibility.
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken); other languages are an advantage.
