Senior Underwriter Casualty (m/f/d)
Main tasks
- Underwriting of profitable business according to UW instructions and authorities, such as:
- o acquisition of new and development of existing business
- o risk analysis, premium calculation, preparation of tenders as well as negotiations
- o examination and negotiation of wordings
- o binding of new business and preparation of relevant information for Service & Support
- o participation in annual meetings and individual appointments with clients
- o preparation of proposals regarding underwriting decision (beyond authority)
- o monitoring the portfolio regarding economical requirements
- Participation on strategy discussion
- Servicing the accounts, brokers and in-house brokers
- Organisation, information and communication within the responsibilities
- Supporting the Account Manager
- Special tasks (e.g. projects)
Your profile - Professional experience/ personality/ languages/software
- Degree in economics preferable specialized in insurance or comparable qualification
- Several years´ professional experience in Liability Insurance
- High level of self-motivation and resilience
- Ability to cooperation and joy in teamwork
- Ability to think and act entrepreneurial along with decision-making capability
- Familiar within all common MS office products
- Very good German and English language skills (business fluent)Very good German and good English language skills
