Tax Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)

To strengthen our team, we are looking for at the earliest possible date for our Corporate Center at our location in Cologne:

Product taxation
- Preparation and monitoring of insurance tax declarations and other similar charges in the domestic and European countries
- Participation in continuous updating of the Tax Compliance Management System
- Implementation of tax changes in the area of insurance tax law in the domestic and European countries
- Contact person for the departments in the insurance tax area
Income tax compliance tasks
- Preparation of advance VAT returns and AWV returns
- Reconciliation of tax accounts

Completed apprenticeship as an insurance specialist with experience in the insurance tax area or Bachelor in tax law or comparable education
3-5 years of professional experience in the field of insurance tax
Experience in the insurance industry
Knowledge of tax and regulatory reporting requirements an advantage
Very reliable and structured way of working with high process orientation
Experience of operational bookings in financial accounting
Competence, willingness and readiness to continuously improve work processes in own area of responsibility as well as across departments
Strong communication skills, social competence and enjoyment of teamwork
High degree of personal responsibility and initiative
Confident appearance in an international environment
Excel specialist for data preparation and report generation
Very good German and good English skills
