Underwriting Assistant Liability (Industrial Insurance) (m/f/d)

Job Description

  • Support for existing customers in cooperation with the underwriters, including in the areas of D&O, PI, Cyber.
  • Documenting insurance policies and supplements in the sole underwriting and management business.
  • Processing of management, sole underwriting, participation and indirect business.
  • IT processing of contracts including the corresponding premium bookings.
  • Supporting the underwriters with portfolio controlling.
  • Account clarification in the event of settlement differences.
  • Special tasks, in particular project work.

Qualification

  • Completed apprenticeship as an insurance salesperson or comparable Qualification, ideally insurance specialist or comparable studies.
  • Several years of experience in administrative activities (in the context of contract administration of commercial and/or industrial insurance contracts in the engineering sector) as well as in underwriting, if applicable.
  • Project experience.
  • Very good cooperation and teamwork skills.
  • High level of self-motivation, resilience and flexibility.
  • Very good ability to organise yourself and work independently.
  • Confident use of MS Office applications and internal systems.
  • Very good knowledge of German and English.
